About EPHA

The mission of the Eden Prairie Hockey Association (EPHA) is to organize and promote youth hockey for girls and boys who are residents of Eden Prairie.  Our goal is to encourage development of good sportsmanship, teamwork, and individual achievement in hockey.  The hockey program is established for the children following a philosophy that stresses the teaching of the fundamentals of hockey.

Founded in 1965, the EPHA currently hosts teams at the following levels:

Youth

  • Mite (Kindergarten – 3rd Grade)
  • Squirt (4th & 5th Grade)
  • Peewee (6th & 7th Grade)
  • Bantam (8th & 9th Grade)
  • Junior Gold (10th – 12th Grade)

Girls

  • 8U (Kindergarten – 3rd Grade)
  • 10U (4th & 5th Grade)
  • 12U (6th & 7th Grade)
  • 15U (8th – 10th Grade)

We also offer a free Rookie Camp for new skaters (ages 4-8) and Termites for 4-year-olds interested in starting hockey. (Both programs are co-ed.)

The EPHA provides financial assistance to families in need?

Believing that no young hockey player should ever have to forego playing "the coolest game on earth" because of temporary economic problems such as a parent being laid off or a family medical crisis, the EPHA provides financial assistance.

To find out how to apply for financial assistance, please contact our Treasurer -  Treasurer@ephockey.com
