Age Guidelines for Mites

Following are the age guidelines for Mites for the 2007-08 season:

• All 2nd and 3rd grade players (or equivalent age) will play Intermediate or Upper Mites.

• Kindergarten and 1st grade players will play Mini-Mites. If you are the parent of a 1st grade player and are interested in having them evaluated to play in Intermediate Mites, then you need to sign them up for Intermediate Mites. Please know that just because you sign them up for Intermediate Mites, does not guarantee they will play at that level.

• Pre-K aged players will not be allowed to play Mini-Mites.

New “Termites” Option for Pre-K

Pre-K aged players will play in Rookie Camp. 

For families of Pre-K players who are interested, there will be an option of playing in “Termites”. The Termites players would play together for the Fall Rookie Camp (6 practices), have an additional 6 practices outside of Rookie Camp, and also play in the Winter Rookie Camp (6 more practices).

In early October, we will contact the families of the Pre-K players to see if they’re interested in this option. So…sign up for Rookie Camp and we’ll be in touch!
