Managers

TEAM MANAGERS

Thank you for volunteering to be your child's Traveling Team Manager! As an all-volunteer organization, EPHA depends on our members to give their time in support of our association. Managers are critical in establishing the environment for a smooth season. The Coaches have the players on the ice but the Team Manager is the off-ice support and leader for the parents.

While the manager role will require a lot of effort (mostly in the beginning of the season), remember that hockey is a team sport. All parents should be contributing to the responsibilities of the team. Delegate, delegate, and delegate whenever you can!

All adult Volunteers must register with the EPHA via the link below

(Coaches, Managers, Commissioners, PODs)

The Registration "Managers" is not currently available.

How to become a Team Manager

First, thank you for making the commitment of becoming a team manager. As an all-volunteer organization, the EPHA depends on all of our members to give of their time in support of our children. There are some administrative issues that need to be taken care of in order to have you properly rostered as a manager.

All Coaches and many Volunteers roles (such as Commissioners, Team Managers, and PODs) must complete the following steps:

1.  Be registered  with USA Hockey for the current season.   (A new registration is required EVERY season). Volunteers  (such as Commissioners, Team Managers, PODs) are Free.  Coaches are $46.   Steps 2 and 3 below are tied to your USA Hockey Number, so you must complete this step  first:   https://membership.usahockey.com

2. Complete the Background screening thru NCSI.  The cost is $30 and good for 2 seasons.  This cost is not reimbursable by the EPHA.  If you completed a screen last season, you are covered this season and will be notified as such when trying to complete a new one.   To complete a new background screen, go here:  https://www.ncsisafe.com/Members/SelfRegBatchCode.aspx?srb=35615801

3. Complete SafeSport Online training EVERY season.  After completing the Complete main course once (~2.5hrs), only a Refresher course is required in subsequent seasons (~ 20 mins).  https://www.usahockey.com/safesporttraining

Thanks again for volunteering

EP Hockey is an amazing brand and we want to ensure our brand is represented through consistent use of logos and colors. Teams should NOT create or use other logos for official team use on their apparel, gear, communication or otherwise.
