INTRODUCING THE NEW STICK & PUCK PROGRAM

You asked and we listened!

After the positive feedback we received from the season-end survey about the developmental skills nights that were held during the season, EPHA has added some summer skate sessions. This new program called STICK & PUCK, led by the EPHA and Alex Volpicelli, will piggy-back on the in-season developmental programming and allow our skaters some off-season ice touches.  Each session, held at the EPCC, will focus primarily on power skating with some time for shooting, puck drills and shinny in each session.

Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis, will be limited to 20 skaters per session, and individual session registration will close once full.  Each skater must be a member of the association and have a valid USA hockey member number (current season USA hockey registration is good through August 31st). Skaters will not be allowed to enter the ice unless they have registered and paid through the website (no cash transactions, please). Registrations are not transferable to alternate players unless previous arrangements are made.

(The USA hockey number should automatically propagate, if it does not, click this link to find your number: https://www.usahockeyregistration.com/duplicate_request_input.action)

SQUIRT/10U and up:

Ice times are Monday between 2:30 - 4:30 and Fridays between 9:30 - 11:30* with the first session starting Friday, June 14. To accommodate differing schedules, times and days are rotated throughout the summer.  Each level 10U/Squirt and above will have one 45 minute session, the remaining sessions will be 60 minutes. Sessions are scheduled by level as 10U, Squirt, PeeWee, 12U + 15U, and Bantam.

MITE/8U

Mite level skates will be 45 minutes in length and will all be scheduled on Mondays at 2:30. Sessions are scheduled by level as Mite/8U 1 & 2 and Mite/8U 3 & 4. Additional sessions may be added depending on interest and participation.

You will register your player based on the level they will play next season.

Each session is $20.  Please note this is the full cost** for the session. There WILL NOT be an additional developmental ice fee of $9 assessed by the EPCC. You get ice time + coaching by certified instructors for this unbelievable price!

GOALIES

Goalies skate for FREE but still need to register. Look for further information regarding the process! Goalies are not counted in the 20 skater session limit.

Watch for the Stick & Puck Registration information to come!  The registration link will be posted on the ephockey.com home page at 5:00, Monday June 10th.

* Due to a unique opportunity and late-breaking block of ice offered at a significant discount, the EPHA created this new program to extend to our members. Please bear with us as we work out the kinks and look for opportunities to improve the program for next summer.

** There is a $1.50 sports engine transaction fee that will be assessed per transaction.  Sign up one session? $1.50.  Sign up for six sessions? $1.50.

If your skater is removed from the ice for disciplinary reasons, they will not be allowed to return to the ice during that session and you will forfeit your session fee. All skaters MUST be paid in full prior to their entry onto the ice. The EPHA reserves the right to cancel any sessions that do not have the minimum required ten skaters paid prior to session start. Sessions canceled by the EPHA will be refunded to the original payment method. Each skater must have a valid, and current, USA Hockey number. EPHA members only, please.

If your skater is unable to attend their registered session, you will forfeit the fee. Once booked, sessions are non-refundable.
