In a shutout, 14U A Black won against Wayzata Black 5 - 0 at Brooklyn Park 1 on Monday. Neither team got the puck past the goalie in the first period. 14U A Black took the lead in the second period with two unanswered goals. Wayzata Black's fate was sealed. In the final period 14U A Black scored three goals adding to the margin of victory and winning the game.

This was the season's first game for Wayzata Black.
