The Heartbeat of EPHA: Our Volunteers

At its core, the EPHA Board is more than a leadership body; it is a community of champions working behind the scenes to ensure the success of the association and, most importantly, the enrichment of every player, coach, and family involved. Volunteers shape the organization’s culture, set its strategic direction, and create an environment where everyone can thrive.

 Admin and Hockey-Related Positions

One of the unique strengths of EPHA is the breadth of opportunities available. With 15 official Board roles, you don’t have to be a hockey expert to make a meaningful contribution. The Board includes both administrative and hockey-related positions, ensuring that a wide range of skills and interests can be put to good use.

• Administrative Positions: These roles are the backbone of organizational success and ensure the smooth operation of the Association. Tasks may include finance and budgeting, communications, event planning, fundraising, equipment and apparel.
• Hockey-Related Positions: For those with more in-depth hockey knowledge, there are many ways to get involved. These positions may include player development, coaching director, president and vice president roles which help define and create a safe, positive, and competitive environment for all participants.

No matter where your strengths lie, there is a position that can benefit from your expertise and enthusiasm.

In addition, at the end of a full, three-year term your volunteer hours (DIBS) will be covered for the remainder of your time in the Association.
